Paris Magazine Layout
In this project, I was given the article and photos and told to create a layout for a 6 page magazine spread. This project taught me how to better design large amounts of copy.
An important element I learned in creating the layout is developing a hierarchy. There are many different elements to break down for each day
and hour. Developing a hierarchy was important to show the day, times and events. Color and different fonts helped to create this distinction as well.
While I didn't write the article or take the photos, I was asked to write the information in the blue box. It had to connect to the article while still providing fun information for the reader. I researched more about the elevated parks and wrote about uniqueness of them in urban spaces.
